Stacy Swenney has a Bachelor's and Master's degree from State university of West Georgia in Early Childhood Education. She earned her Specialist degree from Nova Southeastern University in Brain based learning. she has taught for 17 years all at Atkinson. She is married with 1 son, Colin, who attends Smokey Rd Middle School. She enjoys going out to eat with her family, watching her son play sports, especially soccer. She is originally from Michigan. Becky Lewis has been teaching 5 years. She earned her degree from State University of West Georgia and Mercer University. She enjoys going to the movies and is Georgia Bulldogs fan. Laurie Evans has been an educator for over 30 years. She earned her Early Childhood Education degree from Georgia State University and Masters at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. She was born in Newnan, moved to the Atlanta area, and now is back teaching at the same school that she attended in first grade, Atkinson. She has one son, who is living in Miami with her two grandchildren. She has been married for 30 years to Ray. They both enjoy tennis, traveling, movies and being involved in their church. Most of all, seeing their grandchildren! Channa Long has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood from The State University of West Georgia. She has been teaching for 17 years. She has taught Pre-Kindergarten for 11 years, third grade for 1 year, and first grade for 5 years to current. She is married to her highschool sweetheart and has a daughter, Robyn, who attends Evans Middle School and a son, Caleb, who attends Elm Street Elementary. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her daughter play soccer and helping her son participate in Scouts.
